Durling’s 8th grade students and teacher chaperones, Mrs. Koehn, Mrs. Sexstella, Mrs. Suppa, Mr. Collier, Mr. Gleason, and Mr. Kohler, had a great time traveling to Washington D.C. to explore our nation’s history. For most of the students, this was the very first time they had ever been to Washington D.C. The impact of seeing monuments and memorials such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Declaration of Independence, and the Vietnam Wall gave them a greater sense of knowledge and respect for our nation. The students were an awesome group to take!
Thanks goes to Mrs. Suppa for the pictures.
