Soft Tissue Injury Lab

On October 31, 2006, the students from the Sport, Health, and Fitness Tech Class participated in a gruesome lab to help celebrate the holiday.  Students had to take care of mock accidents that involved a mild knee abrasion, a severe forearm laceration, a finger amputation, and an embedded object (knife in the chest cavity).  It was their job to work together to control the bleeding, dress the wound, and prepare the injured victim to go to the hospital.
