Students from each grade level at Durling Middle School attended a live animal assembly on Thursday, March 2, 2006 focusing on Ohio’s wildlife. The assembly emphasized the following animals: Opossum, Screech Owl, Barred Owl, Red tail Hawk, Skunk, and a Snake. The presenter discussed the animals’ senses, classification, camouflage, communication, habitat, and food chain. Students from all grades experienced an interactive experience of Ohio’s wildlife, focusing on specific grade level content standards.
The 8th grade team with the help of Mr. Davis organized this experience.
