Students at Clearview Reach Out to Children and Their Families at Christmas
This was the fourth year that students at Clearview participated in the Adopt-a-Child, started by CHS Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Molina.
The students at Clearview High School "adopted" children from the Clearview district whose families are experiencing financial difficulties and buy a Christmas gift for them.
On the first day of Christmas break, the presents were delivered to the homes. The students and their generosity were overwhelming. This year there were 86 needy children on the list.
This year former students Ashley Wade and Jennifer Ridenour helped to deliver many of the presents. Alma Merritt, Michael Lanaghan, Nicole Henson, Lindsay Jordan, Liz Lengyel, Danielle Hayden, Mindy Scheithauer, and Lisa Cogdill went well out of their way to help this year.
Mrs. Molina states, "I am eternally grateful for helping to make this year another great success!"
